Sir Oliver Joseph Lodge, F.R.S. (June 12, 1851 – August 22, 1940) was a British physicist and writer, commonly lauded today for his contributions to wireless telegraphy and as a proponent of Maxwell's ether theory, and less commonly for his spiritualism and psychical research efforts.
